Chenoa Thrupp Probst is a feminist painter currently based In Boorloo/Perth. With a love for colour and a passion for the female figure, Chenoa breaths vulnerability, liberation, love and power into her artistic practice. Chenoa’s introspective approach challenges societies misogynistic expectations, questioning ideas surrounding the self, the subject and the object as well as looking to the environment and ideas surrounding climate change. A young and ambitious creative, tackling the maze that is finding oneself, Chenoa translates her experience into layers upon layers of interwoven colour.

Chenoa has recently (2023) completed her Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in visual art at Edith Cowan University (ECU). Her most recent project EmpowerHer was featured in ECUs graduate exhibition ArtsHum23 where she received the Louise Macfie Award for painting and was accepted into a 6-month residency with Inglewood Arts Hub for 2024.
